Redirect visitors to another web page
The OverDRIVE Redirector page type allows you to add an internal or external redirect to any page. Users clicking on the page via the site navigation will be instantly redirected to the target web page; users visiting the page via the url or folder navigation will see a message before being redirected.
To add a redirect, paste a url into the URL box (including the http or https) and choose whether to open the target web page in the same tab (perfect for directing users to another page on the OverDRIVE site) or a new tab (recommended for directing to an external web page). You can also customise the message that users will see on the page.
To edit this page once you have set up the redirect, either use the url to visit the page directly or browse to the folder. Once on the page the redirect is delayed for 3 seconds, click the Page Settings icon to edit the page.
Note: if you choose "Open in New Tab" please make sure to advise your users to allow pop ups in their browser for the site you are redirecting to.
